For several months now I have been using medical cannabis oil by doctors prescription. I’m using THC and CBD oil. The THC is for insomnia and the CBD is for Fibromyalgia related pain. I’ve dealt with both of these issues for around 13 years. I used Zopiclone for sleeping all this time. It’s a harsh sleeping pill that many doctors will no longer prescribe as it may lead to dimentia. Nothing has really worked for the pain without side effects.
At least not until now....
the very day I started with CBD for insomnia, I left sleeping pills behind. I have never slept better. In a matter of days after taking THC the pain was gone. No more pain pills. No more bad side effects. This oil is nothing short of miraculous.
Once medical marijuana hits the mainstream, I believe it will change the face of medical treatments around the world. Millions of people deal with pain caused by a number of medical conditions. Millions of people struggle with insomnia. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to see cannabis oil used in some form to battle cancer, or at least the symptoms of cancer.
if you think this marijuana story is big now, just wait. I believe we are just scratching the surface. Many investors I’m sure, envision people outside of their office building lighting up joints at break time. Weed is not the part of this story that will rock the world. Medical cannabis oil will.
I believe whatever investors do, they should make a point of holding at least some stock for the long term. This can be a retirement fund or money for your kids future. Sure, it’s fun to flip stocks, and take some profits, but I would look much further down the road as well.
One day the USA will follow Canada and legalize marijuana. What a huge market.
Right now, Lululemon stock price sits at $157. If a yoga pants company can reach these heights, what do you think will happen with Tilray, Aphria, Organigram, Aurora and all the other big players?
Not everyone needs a pair of yoga pants, but I don’t know anyone who doesn’t welcome a good nights sleep and a little less pain.
I apologize that this post is so long, but I believe many cannabis investors are not seeing the big picture because they are caught up in the moment.
I have put put every spare cent I have in four different companies, because in the long term I don’t see another investment vehicle that will ever match these companies for long term investment.
It takes a special kind of investor to let a stock sit through all the ups and downs, but I believe it will pay off big time down the road if you have the will and vision to do it. Think Amazon at $1915 today. How much did you buy and hold in the 1997 IPO at $18 a share? I’m guessing none. Just 1000 shares invested at $18 would be worth around 2 million dollars today. But these cannabis stocks won’t take 21 years to get there. This is your chance.
That’s what I’m talking about.
Best of luck to everyone.
