Anyone know where to find updates on DEA CBD rescheduling?
Anyone know where to find updates on DEA CBD rescheduling?Hello, just wanted to ask if anyone knows where I can find updates/news on the U.S food and drug administration's rescheduling of Epidiolex (CBD product).
From my own research I understand that the DEA were given 90 days from june 25th to reschedule Epidiolex, which would be big for Isodiol as they have their own medically tested product 'Isodiolex' which aims to treat epilepsy much like Epidiolex. Also, Isodiol is one of the very few companies in the world that have government approval of their CBD isolate as an API (Active pharma ingredient),which makes them one of the only companies in the cbd industry that can provide and distribute medical grade and tested CBD.
Furthermore, when Epidiolex gets rescheduled to schedule 3/4/5, cbd will change from being classified as an illegal schedule 1 drug (same category as heroin), to a medicinal drug (same category as xanax, codeine, etc.). To reiterate, ISODIOL is one of the only companies other than GW pharma in the CBD industry that can provide medicinal quality and tested CBD on a large distributional scale for research. studies, trials, etc!!! To my understanding, as the DEA has already acknowledged Epidiolex's medicinal properties (CBD) as a successful treatment for epilepsy, they have no choice but to reschedule CBD hence the 90 day deadline.
Well The 90 day ultimatum ends TOMORROW!!! yet there's no news whatsoever about it today, ive been searching all day. Anyone know why this is? U think they are waiting till tomorrow? Or am i missing any news from DEA today?
