A nuggetWading through the verbiage in a technical press release has its rewards:
Down towards the bottom I found this: “Conceptual mining and processing costs were estimated at $US100 per ton of mineralized material”
Flip back up to the top and you get this: “average grade of 21.65 troy ounces per ton (opt) silver (Ag)”.
If I divide 100 by 21.65 I get a cost per ounce of $4.60.
That leaves a lot of margin on a silver price anywhere above $10.00.
Do your own back of the envelope, wild assed, guesses but BHS looks to be a profitable mine with very little in the way of up front costs.
