RE:THE BUBBLE BURST AND REMEMBER RIMRIM didn't fail because of US manipulation. They failed because Blackberry became complacent and stopped innovating. They assumed that they would remain leaders while Apple and Google took the market away from them. Blackberry didn't move to large screen devices and didn't adopt the world of mobile apps until it was way too late.
The RIM lesson is to never be complacent, always innovate. There may be some parallels to CPG. Since RIM was an early leader in their industry, also a Canadian success story.
