Reality Check

Reality Check

A big drop today, but it’s a temporary punch to the gut. My thoughts: The next year will a wild ride. As this industry becomes legal (Oct 18), reality sets in and parameters established there are likely to be some major shakeups. Oils are projected to become predominant versus leaf. Large American companies based in Washington, Colorado and California are about to be listed in the Canadian exchange. In response there will have to be consolidation by Canada’s big players (Aphria, Aurora, Canopy Growth). The tree will be shaken, with many small players falling by the wayside, while the more lucrative small cap ones, like Aleafia will be prime takeover targets - which will prove to be a financial windfall for those with their stock.  I believe this stock will be in the $10-$12 range by March 2019. And by this time next year likely operating as a separate brand under either the Aurora of Canopy corporate umbrella.

Hang onto your hat. And your stocks
