RE:RE:It’s worse than I thought
RE:RE:It’s worse than I thought I manage two IHFs (Independant healthcare facility) in Ontario.
1. Alefia has 23 live/active clinics (coast-to-coast) prior to legalization in Canada. The only company in the market with this kind of footprint and seed-to-patient business model - virtually no competition
2. Apart from the work that goes into acquiring a growing license - it is no easy task getting physicians on board AND acquring an IHF license(s) from the ministry not to mention 23 of them.
3. Considering points 1. and 2. : Aleafia is fully funded.
4. Once cannabis use is legalized (next month) - ALL consultations will be billable, example to OHIP (ontario). New consults will be approx $100-200/pt and follow-ups will be $30-70/pt.
5. The level of establishment Aleafia has achieved in less than 1-yr is shocking. Their expansion will be widespread in the coming years. Fantino is a polarizing figure, but I can assure you, Ive been working with physicians (GPs, cardiologists, radiologists, gynecologists etc) for years - extremely enterprising individuals and work horses who will drive this to company and business model to the moon.
Canada's health care system is a social system. Which means doctors do not dictate their professional fees. The ministry does. The ministry, as one can imagine does not pay as well as the priv sector. Therefore canadian doctors have no choice but to see large volumes and have acquired enterprising tendencies.
Owned ALEF since 0.59 - My level of belief in this model. GLTA
