dacre wrote: I couldn't agree more.  Since the discovery nr on Sept. 9 there have been 6 nrs, average of two a week over the last two weeks.  That's pretty good, I'd say.

The risk they run of regularly releasing production numbers from the new discovery is that the moment production is less or not increasing, everyone will assume the sky is falling, and the sp will suffer as a result.  The simple fact is production from this zone can be erratic over short term because the grades will be erratic where there's visible gold like this.  You could literally pick up one rock (or one drill hole) where there may be little or no gold and another where it will be loaded....nugget effect, or in RNX's case "the boulder effect"!

Quarterly production numbers would be much more representative like all mining companies do, and RNX is a miner.  Having said all that, There's no doubt that this is a special situation, and investors (and the company) want to know the extent of this bonanza grade zone, I get that.

Having said that, though, all the speculation (as annoying, rambling and uneducated as it may be at times) is probably the best thing short term to drive the price.  Like they say, "Buy on rumour..."...and in RNX's case, "Buy on rumour, watch it skyrocket on news!"

Enjoy your afternoon.

Oops...that would be 2 a week over the last 3 weeks!  I'll blame the math on auto correct!
