The Golden Mile has produced more than 60 million ounces of gold - and counting.

No end in sight for Australia's longest-running gold rush on Kalgoorlie-Boulder's Golden Mile

Sorry, but i needed to bump this.

Everyone should read the article in the link posted by midard, the potential on this property may be way beyond anything we could have imagined, literally. They didn't even find Gold Boulders like this at the Super Pit!

Below is a quote from the article.
"There was literally gold all over the place. It became known as the Boulder belt, but it took time before someone first coined the Golden Mile.

One of the Miners at the Beta Hunt Mine said these exact words, "as i watered the dirt down, there was just GOLD everywhere, AS FAR AS YOU CAN SEE"

Another Super Pit would be worth $100 billion

Bob Fagan, vice president of the Eastern Goldfields Prospectors Association and a former lecturer at the WA School of Mines, put the scale of the Golden Mile into perspective.

"That single deposit, basically, if we look at all the gold that has been mined in the past and the inventory still to be mined, it comes to about 2,000 tonnes of metal," he said.

Nice article, thanks for posting.

I had no idea they are located near the Super Pit.

This makes the property way more exciting in my opinion.

They've found Gold Boulders 57km away from an area named "Boulder Belt"

Wake up people, history is being made here. The chances of seeing this are once in a lifetime, and that's why this is probably everyones first time seeing anything like this.
