Did you and Mr Wolf both graduate from Nautical High? The word "heading" or "headed" always implies a choice of direction. Generally speaking, a ship's captain does not choose DOWN as a heading for his ship. It's very difficult to plot a ship's course in a downward direction. The Titanic went down; however, it was not headed down, it was headed to New York. Except in submarines, most voyages to the bottom of the sea are accidental. Are the two of you suggesting that the ACQ ship's captain is deliberately trying to scuttle his ship?
