Lots of containers destined for Canada arrive in Seatle, WA. and any delay because of inspection and longer clearing costs money. Also China imports lots of parts and raw material from the US if tariffs or any of this disrupts manufacturing it also affects deliveries. You do not want your Chris-mass lights arrive in December. This just a small example.
