I share Trudeau's thoughts on this: I find it all really puzzling. This should be a no-brainer. So they'l refuse, the feds will force them to apply one and that's that. I guess the provincial leaders can pin it on Trudeau, as "his tax" then.. And then Trudeau has to find a way to ensure that the majority of voters support a carbon tax before the next election. Could be interesting. It's a real test of his leadership, in my view. It's a shame the whole country is not doing what Quebec is doing. I still can't believe Ontario scrapped cap and trade in favour of being forced into a federal carbon tax. Sheesh... looking forward to this drama being over.
