RE:Guys, you have to learn to live with ...Yup, don't think shareholders should worry about shorts. They have to cover at some point. Any negative effect they have on the SP can only be temporary.

Shorting this is very risky as there could be news that drives the SP significantly higher at any time.

Equally, though, I think taking a leveraged long position is risky too: we don't have enough information to know what RNC is really worth and it's possible that it's less than the current SP. Being leveraged means that either you have to set stop losses (and odds are you'll get stopped out at the worst possible time) or you need to have funds to pay margin calls.

Leveraged longs are meat and drink for shorts as the shorts can force them to sell them their shares at a low price, giving the shorts an instant profit.

All my shares are bought and paid for, so anyone wanting my shares will have to pay the price I decide.
