No, it's not from level 12, it's from the Fathers Day Vein, in the same place as the first blast. You might be looking at the photo with the gold slab on the desk.
In the paperwork with the pen, below the gold slab it looks like they are working 24hrs a day on level 1250 trying to advance 8 meters per 24 hours towards the Fathers Day Vein which is 540 meters away. JMO.
