Seems to me it has been moving pre news releases. So there is leaking of pending news releases happening but likely not the actual content. So the stock jumps in anticipation of a powder sale type of news event and then it settles back when the content is made public and we find it is just confirmation of something we were already expecting. This got amplified this last time by overall market termoil. Have you checked to verify if the company is actually doing any buybacks? I suspect it has not, but I have not checked.
