We all know that RIO is in a conflict of interest as the operator and majority shareholder, it needs to hammer that stock without causing actual harm as much as possible before they take the last bite.  I'm not worried about Mongolia, they need jobs, they need profit and this mine will provide it for decades.

Rio needs a return on their capital and they won't get any unless: they sell their stake or they pay dividends once the FCF goes positive after the large capex.  They shed asset this year and I'm speculating that they'll be putting an offer sooner in my lifetime.  Well if they don't I'll take the dividends down the road.
