The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. RE:Re: uptrend

RE:Re: uptrendSome CEO's would like you to think their problems are caused by one government or another. Like project cost over runs of 50-100% and more. Drilling and operating costs that were double in the good times. CEO's of couse take credit for decreasing costs when the price of oil went down 70%. Also when the railways asked for long term shipping contracts the COE's said no way until finely some said ok 3 year contracts -- is that the extent of their ability to plan? 3 yers? What happens then?

CEO's don't have a reclamation as you go strategy - instead they have an orphan well program that will never fund the enviromental damage being done. And while I'm on the subject, why does the goverment have to fight with CEO's about any regulations when they should be the leaders in environmental work, safety and business standards.

Ok so put me on ignore like a nice little oilpatch fan who thinks government is responsible for all the problems. Did not even mention getting CEO's together and working out a supply management plan so producers could get full WTI prices for their product. Must be the goverment for not building pipelines. Oh goodness give it a break. These CEO's just get the oil, its up to the government to make sure it gets to market. Sounds like a half time CEO that needs to find an easier job. Maybe work for the government. DF
