Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Seems funny about that reporter googling and finding stuff , which he repeats twice.

And then James just lets the subject drop.

He does not dig deeper, he just moves on!

I wonder why? Seems he is not a very good investigative journalist himself.

He (Vic) got off too easy in that interview in my view.

The press release does not outright deny or refute the fact that they met as well.

Too me this is the exact same as ACB & Coke. and we have heard nothing more of that from ACB and that is 1 month ago.

One thing I think we can be fairly certain of from the CEO's language is that they are not in the final stages of any talks to sign an agreement with Altria as the Globe & Mail suggested. They might have been some exploratory discussions between the parties but I doubt they are ready to put pen to paper without a lot more DD being done by both sides. In the meantime life goes on and Aphria must still do what it does best. Whether that is good enough is for the market to decide.
