RE:Bjoerkdalpetersburggray,
Regarding Bjorkdal, in 2015 headcount was 227, and gold production per employee was 188 troy ounces. In 2018, headcount has risen to 300, yet gold production per employee is 178 troy ounces, assuming no increase in gold production in the second half of 2018. Annual revenue per employee in Sweden is the same as revenue per employee at Costerfield in Australia, so both operationa are lean and efficient.
Dominic Duffy has also reduced the size of the executive staff from 15 to 10, so I expect corporate G&A cost to drop by 1/3.
At Bjorkdal, Dominic Duffy has decided to high grade gold production underground while processing stockpiled ore instead of open pit ore, so mining costs at Bjorkdal should drop and gold grades should increase in the next couple of quarters.
