RE:RE:RE:RE:May be a positif analyst report coming on....Thanks for the post and links. As noted last year, the new C.A.P. HD Duodenoscope (ED34-i10T) from Pentax with a disposible end cap might be a slight improvement in helping prevent hospital acquired infections from duodenoscopes use because it will allow more accessible sterilization of this difficult area with TSO3's VP4. This is, however, a new scope in the market and not a significant player yet. Also you should note that Premierinc who gave this 'recognition' is not in the slightest an impartial entity but rather a huge buying group that likes to give recognition to its suppliers and members. As you will also note in TSO3's compatibility matrix for Canada, the Pentax ED-3490TK duodenoscope is sterilized by the VP4. As has been noted by the company, I am certain TSO3 is happy to validate their ability to sterilize other scopes, too, upon request, but, given that the most commonly used duodenoscope in the US market remain those of Olympus such as the Q180V (for which TSO3 was given the extended sterilization claim by the FDA earlier this year) this is the huge end market that TSO3 is presently focussed upon.

This disposible end cap scope in no way diminishes the importance of sterilization of duodenoscopes and only compliments TSO3's groundbreaking and patented technology of H2O2 + Ozone.

As the other links you post only make clearer, the scope contamination problem is a huge one, and not just for duodenoscopes but for bronchoscopes, gastroscopes, and colonoscopes. TSO3 remains the unique, efficient, and cost saving solution for this issue and generally in the growing low temperature sterilizaton market. Thx!
