And more recently, Peregrine Diamonds which was acquired by DeBeers. If I remember correctly, to determine the share price of peregrine they took the average of the SP for the last 20 trading days then added 50% premium.
There are so many different scenarios that could take place, such as a hostile take over, or a friendly acquisition.
