Go into debt to shine up an unmarketable asset then sell it for pennies on the dollar along with a bunch of in ground gold ounces at the bottom of the gold market in order to buy into another industry which is most likely overpriced.  This is a classic example of how the rich get richer by acquiring assets from the short sightedness of the poor.
