RE:RE:RE:Can someone explain the "bootleg"?A bootleg is a drill hole that is left it the face of a drift. It is usually caused by drilling a bit deeper than the rest of the holes in the face. And when blasted it is left in the face of the rock. It’s usually a fragile area because of the blast and the fractures that occur when blasting.  I don’t see this piece being extracted easily because of that.
