They did high end model first, then are releasing a lower end model more affordable. If you want your tech to really grab attention, you have to release all the bells and whistles in the first model. Create a more affordable, less expensive model. Of course, tech is always developing and upgrades will come. But, it would make a weak splash, I think, to release a model that is ho-humm and lack lustre than one that would WOW the public. or launch both at the same time. so those who can afford the prosumer and those who could afford a scaled back model can equally enjoy.
Good morning Stockmonster. Tesla is a good example. They came out with their high end car first and with each generation it got better and more affordable to make. The lower end model coming out is more advanced than the first high end models that came out. That is evolution. For that to work at NXO, they would have to put out their Prosumer version and then with the second generation they would have to improve it for the prosumer and let the first generation become the consumer model. I'm not in favor of dumbing it down for the masses. I think they should come out with the basic version first and call it the PROSUMER and then come out with the 2nd generation and call it PROSUMER TWO. The other part of the equation is how long does it take for that scenario to play out? Are we talking a few months and then the consumer product hits the market or are we talking a few years while they gauge acceptance of the prosumer model? We are all here with the expectation of making some money and defined time lines are important. Good luck to you and thanks to those who commented.
