Buy order set @ 7.00 till end of weekIm long on the entire sector of major LP's. Almost all financial analysts predicted that after the 17th there would be a major decline due to inflated speculative prices. It's understandable that people are upset to a degree. Always...I repeat...always take profits off the table from time to time. Even if just a couple of hundred shares. Especially after a stock like ACB goes from around $6.00 a couple of months back to over $16.00 last week. If emotions make you sell when things are dropping, they should as well when a holding has gone up over 100%.
Keep in mind that you are a shareholder at the beginning stages, and shareholders of the first companies that are the pioneers of an entirely new commidity that, in my opinion, will be legal globally in the next 10-15 years. So even at $20-$30/share, if you are long in your position, you will be greatly rewarded. If you are planning to get rich of one sector, or one stock, in the next couple of years, it would be wise to re-evaluate your investing strategy.
The time to become filthy rich from marijuana stocks has come and gone...it was early to mid 2016 and before that the riches were to be made with a few extra thousand dollars. It is still a good time to purchase and hold for a decade or so...and there will be many times within that decade where there will be major spikes as the industry breaks new ground, new players get involved, and the eventual realization of all the potential this miraculous plant holds within it's DNA for all walks of life, and the hundreds of uses from clothing to paper, construction to pharma, beverages etc...etc....
Disclaimer....I am a current shareholder, with a long position...currently have a purchase order @ $7/share....just hoping it gets filled by a sudden sharp drop...I hope it doesnt go that low for many reasons, but if it does...it's where my last couple thousand dollars I have to invest with is going....good luck to all. You are with the right company, and the right sector.
You will have an amazing story to tell in a couple of decades about how you were an original investor in ACB. And part of the pioneering community that was part of this new industry.
