I guess your not up to date, fool. I have friends who have their medical cards Red Card) here in Colorado and even though they smoke like no other, they use the medical products (i.e.tablets, oils, and more) as much if not more than the bud to manage their pain (and they swear by the effectiveness/efficacy of it). Two of them have permanent physical damage from a car accident. point is, many will continue to smoke weed, so what. Extended release cbd thc tablets will be better for pain management along with the sprays. and once it's approved through clinical trials the tablets should be able to be covered through health insurance. If a person has the ability to get these meds at little to no cost out of pocket, why wouldn't they try it? goverment pays the bill.
