TORSTAR PROBABLY IN MERGER TALKS WITH POSTMEDIA

TORSTAR PROBABLY IN MERGER TALKS WITH POSTMEDIAit appears that ts.b shares trading pattern is more aligned with a "merger" to happen rather than a buyout of the company.  the shares are still trading at a too low price, unable to break through the $1.92 (52-weeks HIGH).  No one has yet stepped forward publicly with an offer.  if this situation remains and the next Q results to be announced next week shows a profit, I dont see how the lagging share price could continue very long before a transaction occurs.  A Postmedia-Torstar alliance is much likely to be the case, rather than a Fairfax takeover.  it is clear that Fairfax is not interested to pay a valuable price to acquire Torstar, otherwise TS.B shares would be definitely trading above at least $2.00 at this point in time.
