Have we hit bottom? In retrospect, two things seem to have been catalysts for the Sep, Oct., sell offs for CRH. First the the RS index was showing an over bought condition, 80-85, on the RS index, 50 to be neutral and bellow that we have oversold conditions. The computers are programmed to start selling off if the RS index hits a certain level, either going short or plain sell off. And this seems to be likely what the various Funds do. A condition the small investors could not possibly know, unless they keep track of the RS index and sell over 70 or 75 no matter what. The second catalyst was the Treasuries yield, shot up, the 10-year in the US, hit 3.25, an indication that the market is ready for correction since many investor go for security and sell off equities along with the interest rate rise. In any case the stock is in a oversold territory and for those who have a long term horizon, may be this is the time to establish positions. GL
