What is a bootleg

What is a bootlegWell it's the remains of a drilled hole that was blasted. It is what is left of the hole  and may or may not contain explosives residules or even a blasting cap if the hole did not fire. That is it in a nut shell.
How do I know this...well I drilled loaded and wired 16ftx16ft round with Rio Algom for many years. Boolegs can be dangerous if the hole did not go off and there is explosives or a cap left in the remains of the hole.
