Lower stock price = more dilution during an acquisition as more shares need to be issued in order to reach the $ value agreed within the acquisition agreement.

Given the large amount of shares and options Dan holds, I'd think that he probably does care about the stock price. However he is focused on creating long term shareholder value (as any CEO should) that will increase the stock price over time, I don't think he pays too much attention to the day-to-day swings which are often times a product of market manipulation.
