you have to understand that the chinese have lots of patience, and cash. Too many average canadians think the gooey tarsand is unwanted and worthless, leave it the ground they say. Well, i say the chinese/indians really wanted this gooey tarsand.  Between canadian pipeline debacle versus venezuela revival, the chinese would prefer the canadian option.
