Yeah, the chinese seem to be throwing money at Li porjects all over the world. They would be the most probable group to make a bid. And we all know how little the chinese care about geopolitial risk! 

I think the problem with the clay deposits is that clay is a pain to process. Since there is no shortage of Li projects in the world, it is my perception that those projects are a long way down the pecking order, hence there is little interest, despite the large NPVs. Cypress has a large NPV, but I've read the technical report, and lets just say I'm not convinced...
