Aye, and if Donnies Grandad Frederick had been allowed to stay in Bavaria when he returned in 1904 instead of being denied the return of his German citizenship, the reason being he was considered a draft dodger, As the saying goes, 'the apple doesn't fall far from the tree'.
 Mary might have had a son called Ruaraidh, or some such variation.
