as always, a very well thought out post Bluechip.
I prefer your option 1 as well - it would abruptly change the snn picture in a big way but the jury is still out on what the timeline of what the govt will do wrt mj if/when the house flips. 

there is no doubt that snn has been seriously hamstrung by the financing and spinout delay, so barring an unexpected outcome, I'd expect a 50%+ re-valuing of the stock to happen as soon as the market gets clarity of the go-forward plan. Of course, I thought snn would be challenging the upper 6 to 7.50 range post the pp closing so the mkt could certainly prove me wrong.
