The instant the product leaves the faclity gates, IT is SOLD and accounted for as such
Term of mj grow and client indicate same,
Invoice booking date is totally irrelevant
Client comes in picks up a few kilos SALE done, recognized.
Client contract states delivery date, time ., truck, vehicle leaves favility gate., SALE done, regognized.
(look at this way..,Client has controll of mj product offsite., waits for invoice,, 2 weeks later ?? Client deliverer has accident in-transit to own shop.., Mj company going to write of the $$ of mj product off site, due to no invoice issued.... NO A CHANCE IN HLL..that is dumb and dumbest) Invoicing is a secondary P/L, Tax and Business requirement...
Product leaves the facilty gate's., SALE recognized..., F.O.B.
Standard business practise, thats why INSURANCE against unseen Carrier events,,, etc., etc

My best guess is booking of sales is at invoice not shipping. Weekly invoicing. A reserve set up (current liability) for returns.
Expect rec sales began booking in Sept.
