Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Canada and the OCS is really f'ed up

RE:Canada and the OCS is really f'ed upThe problem isn’t necessarily the branding although that doesn’t help. The packaging regulations are ridiculous and will lead to so much waste. I haven’t bought from the black market since legalization but I will have to because my favorite strain (from broken coast which is owned by Aphria) is $47 for an eighth. That’s double the price of black market. And while I will still buy it sometimes, I don’t want to pay double what I pay every time.

As for stocks, I’m going to buy the dip on Aphria because Broken Coast is no joke and it’s very popular here. I imagine when more people try it, it will be very good for Aphria as more people choose it as their favorite strain. Aphria has a much better product availability than Canopy and Aurora too. Can’t find any Aurora where I live and Tweed never has supply lol. Anyway just my $0.02.
