RE:If you're serious please read - Otherwise BUGGER OFF! But are you serious? Really?
When you guys talk about doing DD, it's absolutely ridiculous. You don't do DD by calling management, and getting their saccharine responses to your questions. You need to actually open your eyes to what is going on.
The only company in Canada making money in this space? Are you kidding? What do you know!? Are you in Vancouver right now? Because the national UAV convention is happening this week. There are plenty of companies in this space making money. The fact that you don't know that is proof that you're just taking what they are spoon feeding you. All the movers and shakers in the industry are here: Indro Robotics (who, rumor has it, are looking to do an IPO soon), SkyX (recently raised $13M), DDC (need I say more), Industrial Skyworks, Canadian UAVs, Aerovision, RME Geomatics (Global's direct competitor), Aerium Analytics, I could go on and on.
But you know who is not here? Global UAV Technologies. The convention is literally in their back yard this year, and they have zero presence.
Transport Canada is here too, and announcing where the regulations are going. They had a great potential presence this year, R. Lefebvre is here. He's on the BoD of the industry group, and actually leading the regulations committee. But nobody from Global is here. Why not?

This board has become a cesspool of misinformation and mindless bashing.
I find it hard to read through the comments without blocking someone. Seriously folk's - Do you not have anything better to do with your time???
To the serious readers:
- Create and account on the 8020 Connect forum- Andrew Male is responding to questions! It might take time for him to respond, but when he does he responds in full. If you have serious questions for company management (not stupid questions like "what are you doing to get the share price up?") then ask away! I have personally asked many questions and am very satisfied with the answers Im getting.
- UAV is still a strong play in the drone space - My view hasn't changed even though the share price sucks.
- Every week it is becoming more evident that UAV is positioning itself to become leader in the automated drone services space.
- UAV is making substantial revenues which no other competition in this space (in Canada) is doing.
- Management is invested and is working hard to get the share price up - I know this because I had a phone call with one of the team members and I can assure you STUFF IS HAPPENING! (If Im not convincing you, the please pick up the phone and call Andrew Male. He will answer your questions.)
- If I could, I would be buying more shares. Unfortunately the current market decline has made it too perfect to pick up other companies I like - so my cash is being invested in the broader markets.
If you're getting tired of holding on to UAV, if you're hoping for that super duper awesome news release thats going to turn everything around - Im afraid you're going to have to hold on a bit longer.
I believe that year end is going to be messy. NOT BAD, just messy. I believe we're going to see similar numbers to Q3, just with more Year End stuff on the accounting side. That means potential losses from impairments and possibly adjustments from previous quarters. So take for example the travel expenses that everyone was up in arms about - I believe some of those expense may have been wrongly allocated (Based on my due diligence) and some of it might be capitalizes vs expensed.
Another correction may be in the share compensation (But I don't have enough detail about that one...).
Long story short, I do believe that Q4 numbers as far as revenues will be similar to Q3, but the annual statement will provide much clarity.
Overall, UAV will have a great 2nd year, with an awesome 3rd year lining up!
Go longs!
PS - Some people have messaged me why Im not commenting on the UAV board and if I have sold: I have not sold and Im not commenting on this board as much because its a waste of time and the 8020 Connect forum is better.
