RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Board member's thoughtsa Swing and a miss meow meow..... you were really stretching it there to try and break down Supreme as a bad investment but that didn't work out for you... here is why:
1)They have deals with both Medigrow (Lesotho) and Bliss Co. (10% ownership as well)
To dive in a little deeper about Medigrow..... they are also a premium flower based company focused on only top quality flower that is produced in that region. They are close to having the extration facility done and plants are growing as we speak (this was mentioned by Nav in the link you gave me yesterday) From my understanding of medigrow is that they have good connections there and with a solid management team. So why not spend a few $$ more if you are going to own a larger piece of the larger pie? So Supreme has deals.... and i'm sure more ot come.
2)consturction is hard to compare as they are two dif models. APH has large grow spaces in large open areas, whihc to me i think is copletely wrong approach as it increseas risk of crop loss (significant) as well harder to manager pest control/mold.... which will happen. To say otherwise is foolish.... its how they will manage these issues. Supreme has the facility closed in but are building a modular plan multiplied by 28 rooms , each 10k sq ft(i believe)... each room is identical but is seperate to help with customer demand (strain preferences) as well as reducing risk and crop losses. Now lets look at APH quality.... they are focused on automation and reduce costs... but thats alsso because they are not grwoing high quality strains.... they are looking at volume because they know the price compression will come to them with the mids and lows. Supreme has all their product at premium levels with a min 6$ per gram to partners. I can sure as hell tell you APH is not getting even close to that..... so for every 1 g supreme sells APH will have to sell 2-3. I don't think their grow models are really comparable.... and when we start to look at profit margins i think we shall see some interesting facts. Supreme is going to surprise alot of people.
3)you metnioed about all the other topicals etc.... fair enough... Supreme has yet to really announce anything within that regard.... but let me ask you something... has anything been passed through the gov yet regarding any of these products? what happens if something doesn't get approved etc... there goes the R&D money. So again, why start putting money into products that have yet to be made legal.... know the legal framework first before one should start spending money on differentiated products. You see this as a positive, which it is, but i also see it is a negative as well......
4)now you speak of roles...... again..... Supreme is timing things for rec market, has a team in place and are building it to over 400 staff memebers that are engaged and ready to win with Supreme. Nav mentioned that so many companies are relying on automation to drive down price but will that be the winner if the product still suffers? These plants are tempermental when talking about high quality and need a human touch and eyes at all times. Tell me what other company actually has a school for management and training staff? Supreme school of excellence or something liek that.
So as much as you have valid points, it is all perspective.... and to me..... i see both companies are positioned well but in different categories and class.
but again i appreciate your comments please keep em coming.
