RE:RE:Only things he cares about areI think it is very safe to say that the Canadian economy is as healthy as it is DESPITE the Trudeau administration, not BECAUSE of it.  That statement of course is impossible to quantify, but every indication is that we could be doing a whole lot better.  Hard not to ride on the coat tails of the booming American economy to a certain degree.  But if we had properly managed our energy file; meaningfully responded to the competetive vaccuum that now exists between Canada and the US; actually encouraged foreign investment rather than chasing it away; streamlined/simplified regulatory constipation; not buried our heads in the sand in the hopes that everything would somehow fix itself; not focused our entire legislative agenda on uber-progressive social justice issues to the neglect of everything else; then imageine how much better we would be looking today?  Our stock market sits pretty much unchanged since 2008.
