This is where you are wrong, I don`t care who you are but if your a professional grower you take a ton of pride in what year upon year of experience has taught you. The crooks are not going quietly into the night, prices are coming way, way down. Mark my words - this business model will fail. I recently left Alberta for Toronto on a business trip, my 21 year old nephew who fancies himself as a connoisseur of the finest herb available and is deeply connected, as most youth is related a story to me....youth does not care about purchasing legal weed, end of story. He proceeded to show me bag after of bag of killer red bud, orange bud, white bud - you name it , all he can get - any flavor within minutes of a text message. So if youth doesn`t care about this whole social musical hub experience what demographic will...is HIP and GENE targeting the 50 year old generation that has not partaked yet - like that consumer base even exists. The kids aren`t excited, the kids are the big customers that every one is targeting for market share. If the kids don`t care ( and they don`t because they like the thrill of anti establishment ), just what segment of society will be the big purchaser. Sure tconsumers might try this whole experience once but WTF will get off the couch no matter how much the old ladies nags to do it twice - one trick pony and it will fail. Anyone can get killer bud with a phone call, anyone ( with a little practice ) can grow their own dope, everyone has a kickass stereo - what are they missing. The business model will fail - no one cares about it, and sure as shite no one cares about the Tragically Hip anymore now that Gord is gone....yesterdays news....RIP....keep dreaming, this story is over. There will be 3 maybe 4 that survive, those with international exposure..because like the previous poster stated...every country will through up barriers to keep their tax dollars at home. The Canadian market is a drop in the bucket and matters not.protect. HIP missed the boat. GAAME OVER....just wait and see.
