RE:RE:Any explaination would be appreciatedWhile I usually don't agree with Windgods posts I have to side with him on this one. I've stated before I no longer have the confidence in mgmt I once did. I thought this quarter was okay and they are continuing on their growth path which is good. However the share price has traded side ways since July 2017. It was ennoying at first how after each quarter we would get reassurance that things were going well, more acquisitions, etc, etc. Then the share price does nothing, that was 5 quarters ago, and yet again we are already looking to q4 when maybe we will get some return on our investment. It was annoying, now its getting old. For those reading thinking that is a short term mindset, no i've owned CRH for many years and i'm up over 50% on my remaining shares but sold some off over the last year. Any good investor needs to analyze their holdings, specifically the under performers and think can I get a better return for my money elsewhere? Also, does the investment thesis I used to buy this stock still stand today?. My answer to the first question is yes, and second question not so much. I am still holding CRH but i'll say its in the penalty box and i'm reassessing how much longer I want to hold. I think I may give it another quarter or two to get its $hit together, otherwise I'll move on. Having mgmt that is shareholder friendly and trustworthy is very high on my requirements of stocks I own. They've lost quite a bit of that in my books. I think you can agree it says a lot that Wright wasn't buying shares in the $3's, or even the $4's especially after he made a boat load offloading shares at a much higher price. This is not a bash of CRH, I'm a long but frustrated share holder that is losing his patience.
