Chef, IMO, there's only one way to read that note from Hans, and it aint good. Hans provided details on the size of each unit, and they line up with what I saw when I drove around the building. Despite Rambo claiming the sizes of 4000 sq ft and then doubling them for the "second floor" (ha ha), none of them looked bigger than 2000 square feet, and the second floor is meaningless.
Add Hans' numbers up individually and you get 10,112. Tryintomakeit says Hans missed one unit, number 27. OK, let's say that's true, and also assume unit 27 is the same size as the BIGGEST unit in Hans' list, which 1849 sq.ft. So including #27, you're at 11,961. The subtract 2400 for the sublet space to Vertigo and you're at 9,561. And that's the TOTAL amount, now you have to subtract space for washrooms for the employees, maybe a lunchroom / coffee area, curing rooms, vaults. lab space, service areas, processing, packaging, a meeting room....
Make the calculation the other way. The total size of the entire facility at 2550 Acland Road is 42,263 sq ft - that's the whole building. There are 30 units. Maybe THC own 10 or 11 units. You can probably do that math - the best case is 11/30 x 42,263=15,496 minus 2400 sublet to Vertigo = 13,096.
Either way, whether it's 9,561 or even as high as 13,096, minus space for curing rooms, vaults, processing, packaging, washrooms, lunchrooms, etc., but who gives a d@mn? Aurora had 50,000 square feet in Alberta more than 2 years ago.
Do people on this board understand NOW why this company NEVER releases information on the total number of square feet they have in production? It's because it's a frickin' joke.

The bc land title office list all the owners. my floorspace info includes finished 2nd floor areas. How many units have THC International Inc on the title, my friend?
