I would not say the company itself is garbage I just really don't understand Jay's logic (if there is any). The guy really seems to care more about his hair than about giving updates or creating an image, public perception of the company. Talks about "national brands", "building brands", same old talk about Tragically Hip collaboration. Please, Jay, how many brands have you built to date? Do you know how much it costs to build a brand? Gibberish. I watched Bruce Linton's interview after Jay's. Wow, what a difference. Confident, no vagueness, lots of numbers, a guy in control of his business. By the way it was really interesting how they got the Constellation deal. Turns out Canopy was not approached. They col-called it pretty much. They heard an interview where Constellation exec said he would like to get into Cannabis space. Then they were stalking some Constellation staff on LinkedIn and manage to land a meeting. It took 9 month of negotiations, the test is history.
