KAT Analysis

KAT AnalysisThis should not be a concern for the following reasons:

  • Sales is suspended not production...inventory will increase accordingly. Copper sales is going to continue

  • KAT or KCC is surveying the surrounding land for possible Uranium deposit. Attached is a PDF that outlines Uranium Mining in DRC specifically in the Katanga Province. https://www.sortirdunucleaire.org/IMG/pdf/ecumenicalnetworkcentralafrica-2011-uranium_mining_in_the_dr_congo-a_radiant_business_for_european_nuclear_companies_.pdf

I think investors are placing too high an emphasizes on sales rather then the production, all that has happened is that sales has been skewed from first half of 2019 to second half of 2019. If anything the KCC mine will provide optionality to Uranium.

Also, KAT accounts for 25% of the world's Cobalt supply; as a result, of the sales suspension (not production), Cobalt in the spot market will be tight resulting in a price increase. The electric vechicle production will really take-off in 2020 and resuming sales in second half of 2019 will do wonders for Cobalt prices.

Will I buy more KAT? Absolutely..In fact I already purchased more below 50c

Best,
Katanga Shareholder
