RE:KAT Fundamentals don’t change with today’s PR
I resemble that. In fact, Katanga remains one of the most important cobalt producers in the world. The production was not stopped but the sale postponed. This could also mean that Glencore could sell the cobalt next year at much higher prices. As I see it, production figures are rising continuously and Glencore has reaffirmed its 2019 annual targets. The way I see it, this bad news is more than priced in at prices around 50 cents. If I understand correctly, Glencore will publish a few more figures today. That can be good or bad. But if they are at or above expectations, then I would think that we will see higher prices again very quickly. I would think 60-80 cents would be absolutely achievable. I would think that those who bought yesterday can expect a nice profit in 12 months at the latest. Some perhaps even much earlier.

I am following Katanga vor roughly 10 years now. Bought and sold several times and always kept a certain number of shares. Yesterday I topped up substantially. I know that it is sometimes a bumby road with these miners especially in Africa. However....for investors with a longer term view in my view the current SP level is a very attractive entry point (for those who missed the run last year).
