RE:RE:firingMy guess is that the expected productivity improvements with the new shovel have not worked as planned and all those who reccomended spending the $50 million on the new shovel are gone.
One bad decision is not usually enough reason to be booted but they have had allmost 3 years to get the mine up to projections as to tonnage, recoveries and grade and this was probably the last straw. I hope the replacements are able to get this thing running as expected as the mine has a long life at grades that should enable the company to get back the capital and keep producing for many years.
