RE:RE:Sudden Sell off on good news
I have held this stock for several years...and a seemingly repetitive trading pattern has set in.
Almost immediately after decent results are posted , there is a shortlived climb, followed by a persistent sell-off. Check the charts I am now convinced this stock will no longer climb, until the company starts returning more capital to the shareholders in terms of an increased dividend or share buyback. Neither of which has been indicated by mgmt. Despite no forseeable capital appreciation in sight , I plan to sit tight and collect my solid yield. ( low risk on a dividend cut) An external catalyst , like resoluton of the steel tariffs would be positive and may be the reason why analysts are sticking their necks out with $35 plus targets .
