Whereas KSM mill would not be able to take on the snowfield ore for 40 years or so.... Could the tunnel handle such massive tonnages of rock that two economically justifiable mines would produce. I don't think so. In the meantime pretium has some teething problems that it is working on. They don't have time to worry about what might happen many many years down the road..

Depends on the order of development, yes?  The MTT only covers Iron Cap and Mitchell.  Assuming that Iron Cap is first in line, Snowfield could be the second area to be developed given the higher gold content with the others being developed in the later years of the mine life.  While Pretium is working on its other teething issues, why not monitize Snowfield into a JV now?  Why wait 40 years if an offer comes up next year?
