News Releases

News ReleasesIt does seem they don't want to release much information because they know that retail investors will either shoot up or shoot down stock price. I remember Elon Musk wanting tesla to go private so he didn't have the stock price affect the company. Does anyone know how that would be beneficial?

The way I see it is the shares have already been bought and sold so why should he care about where they go? But then again, I guess financing comes into play. Banks or funds are willing to lend you more money at lower interest rates if you are worth more money, which comes from your stock price. Also you can issue shares at a higher price for better funding. That is all I can think of where the stock price would be important and affect management decisions.

In WM's case, with sprott onboard, do you think any sort of financing would be a problem? They obviously are protecting stock price right now for some reason, and the bulk results could have been out already. There is something going on behind closed doors, I guess we shall wait and see.
