RE:Scotia Holds Target at $3.25

RE:Scotia Holds Target at $3.25 interesting comment int he BNS exceprt highlighted below. i had forgotten that they were also valuing Clara at ZERO right now.

the Euro analyst excerpts a few posts back - the $SEK18 target ( for which i cannot remember the $CDN equivalent) -  had Clara pegged for nw at 50% of th original initial purchase price.

i really though BNS was going to downgade their target to the $250 range.

thx for the post Sox

OUR TAKE: We've updated our model after LUC's Q3 results and conference call, with relatively minor changes. It was a transitional quarter for LUC with a new mining contractor, a new blended sales process (and preparations for the Clara launch), and dramatically improved plant performance that altered the production mix (more small stones). These factors created a lot of noise in the Q3 results, particularly around realized prices and operating costs, but our outlook generally hasn't changed. In fact, the operating results have been notably better than expected over the past two quarters and continuation of this mine-site performance should translate into stronger financial results going into 2019, particularly as capital waste stripping requirements fall off. Clara could further enhance cash flow after the launch later this month, which is not included in our financial estimates currently but has significant upside potential. Maintain Sector Outperform, Target $3.25 CAD
