RE:RE:Not likely RNX will see $1.I did not get that impression at all. From other quarterly reports I have participated in, this business language was insanely positive. This isn't advertising, like they are not selling to investors. When a company is acting like a band of salesmen, that's when you have to look out.
This play is excellent- it really doesn't get any better, ever, for a junior in natural resource extraction. Ever. I think people are expecting RNC to act like some pundit's podcast, but it doesn't work like that. These guys have been operating without all this special interest for years, but we are expecting them to stop being a business and start being showmen. Quarterly reports are not like that. They are simply a duty to communicate with shareholders, helping them to interpret their reporting documents, really.
Sometimes, smart investors infer a lot from a quarterly report, so it can change the price quickly. In this case, I think a lot of investors don't have a lot of direct experience with this sort of operation. With 4 drillings running, you see, their quarterly updates are going to have 4 times greater compaction of recovered assets, and the area is known to be good. That's why Selby keeps refering back to the 4 drills as if that's the exciting part. Because it is. This play is unlocked operationally, with capital into more exploration. It is not unlocked by PR or salemanship. It just simply is not that sort of situation.
The other aspect to this is that with the enormous volume on the stock, it is rife with day trading. Day trading is completely different than investing into RNC bc of their reserve + operational ramp up. They are night and day, having nothing to do with each other. If this stock is 1, 2, or 3 dollars in May 2019 it does not matter what price it is in the mean time. Like, at all.
